RANDOM SONG: BY ARTIST OR BY TITLE

The RANDOM SONG item allows you to add a random song to the playlist or break. The song is randomly selected between all the songs according the specified parameters.

The comment box also allows you to specify one or more words that must be present in the comment field of the song. For example, if you write the comment "sanremo" must be selected a song that has the word "sanremo" in his comment.

It's also possible to request a random song from a specific artist: just type in the comment box the name of the artist preceded by a semicolon, as in the image above, for example, ;madonna. With this method you can also make a playlist of songs by a single artist (in this case the rules of distance are ignored).

Yet you can request a random song by a word in the title. For example to request a song where the title contain the word "love" write in the comment box double semicolon word and therefore ;;love

SETUP: EXCLUDE MB STUDIO FOLDER FROM YOUR ANTIVIRUS

If you have installed an anti-virus security software, this could block or interfere with the execution of MB STUDIO and MB SPOT.

It's therefore necessary to enter the advanced antivirus settings and add to the list of exceptions the MBStudio folder (usually c: \ MBStudio)

USB DONGLE CRYPTOBOX

The USB dongle CryptoBox is a small electronic key that must be inserted into a USB port of your computer and that enables the software license that you have purchased. This activation method has the following advantages:

• your license is stored in the key, so if you decide to change to computer use, you can move it with the software
• in the case of formatting the computer will not be necessary to reactivate the software.
• can be updated from remote, so, if you purchase additional licenses, you don't have to purchase additional keys.

AUDIO - SETTING AUDIO CARDS TO 44100 HZ

For a stable and optimal operation of MB STUDIO and MB RECASTER it's necessary to set the frequency of the sound card to 44100 Hz (or alternatively 48000 Hz). Frequencies above 48000 Hz unnecessarily load the CPU of the computer and can cause blocks of applications. The card selector already shows the current frequency of your sound card:

WINDOWS: DISPLAY FILE EXTENSIONS

Some functions of MB STUDIO require to display the file extensions. By deafult Windows do not display the file extensions, ex: the file spot.mp3 is displayed as spot but at same time others files with the same name but a different extension could exists in the computer, ex: spot.wav, spot.wma, spot.mp4. So it's important to display the file extensions.
