Hi Maurizio,
Yes, for sure I know this functionality
Let me try to explain our issue again...
We are using different instances of MB studio in order to prepare some playlists about specific programs even if we are not connected to the master PC (so remotely). These different instances are not synchronized with the master. (stand alone) but have their own archive, so we can tag the songs and prepare the sessions.
Then we extract and copy these prepared playlists in our primary MB studio PC and put the concerned songs in a folder mapped into MB studio configuration. (known by the primary MB studio)
We don't want to have these tagged files added to the master archive because they are too much specific, we don't want to 'polute' our master archive.
In the past, MB Studio was able to find his way to these files, even if they were not added into his archive.
It seems that this opportunity doesn't exist anymore.
... so we use the workaround of adding 'file', but then we loose the tag infos.
If it's too complicated to understand, just forget this topic
Many thanks for your precious help.
Kind regards,
Bernard.
