Insieme ad un esperto sistemista abbiamo installato in radio un firewall Zyzell a protezione della rete dei pc, compresa la macchina su cui risiede MB (vers. Pro). Nonostante siano aperte tutte le porte in uscita il Firewall blocca lo streaming ogni 10 minuti esatti; si tenga presente che la codifica (shoutcast 128Kps) avviene tramite il webcasting integrato in Mb Studio. Se facciamo lo streaming da "esterno" (con Edcast) il problema non si manifesta!
C'e' qualcosa che possiamo fare? Grazie

E' la prima volta che sento parlare di un firewall che blocca a "rate" ogni 10 minuti. Normalmente un firewall blocca o non blocca in modo continuativo. Come avete fatto a diagnosticare che è il firewall che blocca ogni 10 minuti? e che effetto comporta sul vostro streaming?. Avete provato a disattivare completamente questo firewall?

Si, confermo che se mettiamo la macchina direttamente sul router lo streaming non viene bloccato.
Analogamente se trasmettiamo con Edcast con una macchina che è sotto il firewall!
Il blocco comporta che lo streaming non raggiunge più il server e quindi si blocca il flusso. L'utente all'ascolto preme f5 e il flusso riprende..Analizzando i log del firewall si nota che l'indirizzo del router (gateway) tenta dopo 10 minuti di accedere al pc che trasmette ed a quel punto si blocca!
